Cocoa Plantation with lunch

The smooth, bitter-tasting paste extracted from the beans is the key ingredient of the best world's chocolate.

Guests will visit Hacienda El Castillo, here; in natural scenery will have the great opportunity to learn about the process to obtain chocolate.

The property has 300 hectares, of which 60 are seeded of cacao, 12 of handle, 15 of theca forests, forest of mahogany, guayacán and other species, in addition to other cultures developing.

Guests will visit the orchard where the plants are before being seeded. It will be possible to observe the process of seedtime of the plant, as well as its harvest. Then they will visit the tenderos where the fruit is put to dry and gets ready for its sale and export.

There is a small factory for tourists, the goal is to have the visitors making its own chocolate and then enjoy it later.

After these activities, a delicious typical lunch will be waiting for you in the patios of the castle.
